About Chelsey
Founder
Hi, I’m Chelsey Ehresman, founder of Arc Proposals and someone who has always been driven to show up for my community. From volunteering with the YMCA, Medicine Hat Adaptive Sport, the Community Foundation, and Women’s Para Hockey Canada, to sitting on local grant committees and national post-secondary award panels, I’ve spent years contributing to the sector.
In my professional work I’ve gained valuable experience writing academic, economic, and innovation proposals, and a deep understanding of what reviewers are actually looking for.
Now, as a mom of three young kids with a full-time career, my relationship with community contribution is evolving. I can’t show up to every program or sit on every board the way I once did. I’ve found what I believe is the most strategic use of what I have to offer: helping others get funded. Because without funding, none of the rest happens.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Lethbridge and a Master of Arts in Communication and Technology from the University of Alberta, education uniquely positioned to help you understand funder priorities and translate complex work into clear, persuasive proposals.
This is my work, done for good.
